Community Support

Our farming footprint is based in rural KZN, South Africa where we operate in harmony with our neighbours.
We have several farming and social initiatives where we are constantly active.

Entrepreneurship Initiatives

With the vision from our founder and director, Reverend Erlo Stegen, we developed a community nursery for avocado trees which we sell to emerging farmers at a subsidised price.

We have passed on our acquired knowledge in avocado growing to the farmers, teaching them about soil health, planting and management of orchards so that they can successfully grow their own avocado trees for their families but also as an initiative to start their own avocado growing businesses.

We buy the seeds from these farmers as rootstock for our avocado orchards. When their trees bear fruit, these farmers will be able to sell the avocadoes to Emseni to pack and sell.
